We are so happy to finally share with you all the news of a newest little one coming to us early July 2013!

We are happy, excited and , despite of a tough batch of morning sickness  that lasts all day long, I am savoring every minute of this very special time. 

Because this new little baby is our last ( we think) , I want to take a completely different journey this pregnancy with the main focus on taking pictures and sharing my thoughts, findings and feelings as I go. Believe it or not, I have the grand total of 2 or 3 pictures throughout all my pregnancies. Why - don't ask, because I am not so sure myself. But having wished for the past being different, I am going to try my best in present. 

There are so very many things that are on my mind. And even fifth time around, I have the same "should I or shound't I", "will we or won't we" questions come up, with one of them being :

Should we find out the sex of the baby? 

I've never been patient enough in the past, and found out the MOMENT I knew I could. 

This time around I still haven't found out yet, and am wondering if, maybe, we should wait? 

It would be fun to have a surprise at the end of the journey on one hand, but knowing whether it's a boy or a girl is also extremely fun.

The Magic of Winter

 

I love winters here.

A typical winter is in high 30s low 40s, with absolute gorgeous, fluffy, white heavy snow.

The sky, mountains and the horizon blend together into one beautiful stark white Wonderland. 

If there is one true "Winter Wonderland" that I dreamed as a child about - this is it. Warm enough to not really NEED the gloves, but chilly enough for snow to stay and for that steamy hot chocolate ( or coffee for some over here ) to be just about the best thing on the planet, at least for a moment or so.

We slightly detoured on Friday to play and snapped a few photos on the way from school, and tell me - is there anything better when you are a child then this right-out-of-a-fairy-tale magical place? Even as an adult, I could help but marvel at the beauty Mother Nature creates for us all.

^^ there is no definition where the sky line ends and the ground starts... it's all white, beautiful magic^^

 

^^ couldn't have forgotten about most important person's hands - Vasilisa is actually discovering snow for the first time ( last year she was way too small to care) . so far they've made friends^^

 

^^ and so did her doll ( that little "groovie girl" has some of my deepest respect for being to the moon and back and still holding up strong). the snow was definitely the hit ^^

*personal finance section suggests some "low to no cost weekend ideas". while i'm not so sure about a couple, dress rehearsal seems like a great idea to see a good performance for a fraction of a cost ( or even free! depending on where you go)

I'd love to know what you like your weekends to be. And DO come back Monday. We are putting a whole new spin on things around here, or rather adding some.

ps: if you got a mini-crew of +1 or more and baby sitting is not an option, we found that some "adult gadgets" thrifted ( like some old phone, just like daddy's ( or mommy's)  notebook with real, just like daddy's (or mommy's)  pen, and other things from the "adult" world keep the little ones very happy. those things ( and some other special toys) have a "weekend only" access and seemed to work for us to keep our  crew very happy and quiet at the more of adult interest places ( like a gallery or something of that type)
