Meet & greet

Yesterday Soel Boutique and See Jane Blog hosted an amazing meet & greet party. All bloggers from around the area ( though felt like from around the world!)  came to mingle , get to know each other and share their craft - be it style, food , diy, or simply lifestyle.

It was a fantastic experience to see so many wonderful faces that are behind amazing blogs, such as Classy Cosmetics, Third Floor Design studio, Milkglass and Honey and See Jane herself of course, just to name a few; talk to new aspiring designers, meet other beautiful faces that modeled for Lulu wrap ( did you notice a new addition to the sponsor section?) , all while surrounded by gorgeous clothing for prices better then steals ( did you know you can order anything you like from Soel over the phone?)  Oh, and add non-stop giveaways from sponsors. Can it get any better, honestly?


The place was PACKED. I mean - step right, step left and you're with another smiling face. Apparently, showing up on time was already late. People came 1/2 hour early. Like I said - fab event.

Les Femme Moda and Style in general...

This week's LFM is a little different. My hard working camera was left at home and we honestly had no time to schedule a real photo shoot. Yet , I did not want to skip a week either. So, you are getting pieces from actual life: hotel, street and all. And , actually, as I was going through the pictures, I liked them better... They are real - the real 2 minute hotel shoot as I was running out of the door, the real outside pics , everything is real, even the beige suede shoes that my son got slightly dirty on the way. This , probably, is the best way of showing the style - a true, living expression of it.

I think that everyone can get dressed up for the camera, stand and smile beautifully and photoshop some amazing pictures out of it ( over the years of experiences with different agencies I've seen it enough) , but they do not breathe life to me. I like the snaps  - as imperfect as may be - that capture bits of days stealing the living moments of it.

Insta-weekend

I had some work-related necessities to go to this weekend ( exciting things happening - I'll share later) . And as much as I love seasons, some sun, change of scenery, art, museums and warm weather were definitely welcomed. And since kids were getting bored with the same places we took them over and over for weekenducation, we threw everyone in, and off we went! I could NOT believe that I forgot my Nikon , not that's really to show that my mind was occupied with work rather then fun. At least Diana is always with me... Between her and iphone , here are some bits and pieces from the trip:

 We've managed to see quite a bit considering the small amount of free time on my part. I must say, Madam Tussaud's is my fav from this trip, although it really is tie with some great art works.

We came back to cold temps and snow, and I am ready to move TODAY.
